OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
12.08.2023
Stephanie: "While at a bar called Lucy's Sage & Sand, my friend Jill text asking me to join her. She was sitting at a table with about 5 guys. Sitting next to Jill, Joe was directly to my left. To say he didn't even say 5 words to me the entire time, is an overstatement! Before leaving Jill and her boyfriend arranged a bike ride between them, myself and Joe. This was the first and only words spoken between us. I stated to Joe, "you don't want me on the back of your bike, do you?" Joe's only words the entire night to me were, "sure, let's exchange numbers." The ride was arranged for the following day. I didn't end up going!"
Joe: "One night, I meet the most beautiful woman I have ever seen! I was intimidated by her presence. I was nervous and tongue tied. I didn't say a word to her. I was in way over my head. We made a plan to go on a motorcycle ride, she blew me off."
Fast forward to
12.23.2023
Stephanie: "With no previous conversations after the night at Lucy's, I received a text passed on to me through Jill from Joe. The text said "She needs to claim her heated seat soon!" I laughed and sent Joe a message to see if I could get some conversation out of him this time, saying "I heard you got a new bike?" Although I was on my way to Utah for Christmas, Joe and I continued to text and really never stopped after that."

Stephanie: "It was on this date that Joe questioned the status of what our relationship was and I told him he was no longer single! He laughed but I think that made him happy."
Joe: "We started talking! She has become my best friend, my love, my strength. I am 10 times the man I was when we meet, thanks to her."
The proposal

Stephanie: "I thought I had Joe pegged that he was going to propose while we were out on an ATV ride. So while feeling a bit bummed the following day, I was in complete shock when he kept crawling under my recliner for the dog's balls to throw and on the 3rd time came up on his knees with a ring."
